We're really chuffed about the going live of Egli Fischer & Cie AG as the new EFCO Befestigungstechnik AG. Not just because it's an almost century-old, little-known gem and innovator in the Swiss construction business. It's also a pitch-perfect client, to showcase
our mission to empower the international SME in its ambitions, thus supporting the backbone of our economy. The Swiss Mittelstand.
 

Bold Niche Positioning
Brand follows business. That's why we first developed a bold niche positioning, capitalising on the not over-specialised fastening & fixing sector. To reflect EFCO's business strategy and differentiate them in a more powerful, compelling way.
As partner of choice for specialty fastening in renovations and conversions.

Our work involved also the development of naming alternatives, the overall architecture, product naming, the key messages, a strong claim and more. Mission-critical in this phase was as well the timely on-boarding of essential stakeholders (shareholders, board of directors, marketing & sales team, existing suppliers etc).  


Designed to Stand Out
With the brand strategy shared and agreed, we focused on EFCO's new look and feel as well as the most important key applications to bring the new brand alive, in a powerful and relevant way. In doing so, we were driving home both strong visual recognition on construction sites as well as EFCO's quality Swiss provenance.

 

Digital Brand Building
In a third step, we supported external partners to ensure the new site and e-shop are reinforcing the brand positioning efficiently. Thus we created personas to get a better picture of the online audiences, a site-map to ensure efficient journeys and a content-strategy to drive home EFCO's key messages. Last but not least we've written the web copy to ensure a consistent tone of voice.

 Parallel to the launch of the new online presence and the relocation into their new Head Office, the rejuvenated EFCO will finally hit markets this September. As a leading Swiss developer and manufacturer of intelligent fastening solutions - since 1924.
